Halibut & Salmon Fishing Charter

This combo trip is available for those who would like to have a variety of fish to catch! Join us for a chance to reel in big halibut and salmon, two Alaskan classics. Starting from Homer Harbor, this Alaska fishing charter takes you to all the best spots for hooking halibut and salmon. Catch something for dinner! Keep your eyes open for local wildlife, too.

Our crew and captain will assist with gearing up, baiting and coordinating lines in the water. They are here to offer support with everything from navigational and tour guide information, to fishing technique and boat etiquette. They’ll also help you keep the flow to ensure an exceptional fishing experience!

Need lodging? We also have private studio rentals with discount options at the Red Door Lodge in the heart of Homer’s business district, only a few minutes’ walk to breakfast/lunch diners, excellent evening restaurants, bars, grocers, galleries, unique shops, and the beach.

Halibut Fishing Regulations from the IPHC:

• 2019 ocean fishing regulations are not expected to change from 2018 but updates to the regulations will be provided once they are provided by the council
• Limit of two halibut per day. If taking two, one must be 28 inches or smaller
• You are allowed a total of four charter-caught halibut per person, per year
• There will be no halibut fishing on Wednesdays all season and no halibut fishing on Tuesdays from July 10 to Aug 14, 2018
  -We have several other options for fishing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays which include salmon or salmon and rockfish combo fishing

PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase your fishing license online you are required to print it, sign it and have it in your possession. Having a PDF or other copy on a mobile phone does not meet this legal requirement.

Cancellation Policy

A 10% deposit will be charged for all reservations, refunds are 100% money back guaranteed IF canceled before 30 days of the expected trip date. If the trip is cancelled with less than 30 days notice (for reasons excluding storms/unsafe weather conditions), the deposit will be non-refundable.
